Andy Cook

I’m married to Emma, have a daughter Pip, and live in Sunny Suffolk in the fantastic Kingdom of East Anglia.

I joined my local TA unit (158 Regt RLC) in 1996, and served as an army reservist for around 17 years.  In that time I also had a few periods of full time service, which included Iraq, Sierra Leonne and the Defence School of Transport, Leconfield, East Yorkshire.

I passed my driving tests with the army. My car test was in a Vauxhall Corsa, and the next thing I drove was a 110 GS. It seemed huge, with the spare wheel on the bonnet, no power steering and heavy clutch it was a world away from the Corsa, but I loved it and it was at that moment I was bitten by the Land Rover bug.

I am currently the club newsletter editor.
